2023 Fall Baseball
FALL BALL PLAYERS !! Beth – Wood Baseball League is proud to offer again this year on – line Registration for Fall Ball, for Tee Ballers through Majors (for children who will be of baseball age 5 – 12 as of April 30, 2024). So if your child is a baseball 10 this year, he would therefore register to play Majors as a baseball 11 this Fall on a 50/70 diamond … The Registration period for Beth – WoodFall Ball has begun and ends on Sunday, August 13th (after which there will be an automatic late fee of $ 25 assessed to each Registrant accordingly, as long as there is room on the Teams to accommodate late Registrants).
The 2023 Fall Ball program will be as follows :
5’s / 6’s Tee Ball – Professional Coach Bill Asermely of CORE Training will once again be running this program for us (they will not only learn a lot but more importantly have a lot of fun) – these will be held Wednesday afternoons starting at 5:30 PM from September 6th thru October 25th (details to follow)
*7’s / 8’s Rookies
*9’s / 10’s Minors
*11’s / 12’s Majors
* Note that for these 3 Divisions, Beth - Wood has been in discussions with other local Leagues (Milford, Stratford, Oxford, Wolcott, etc.) so we may play inter- league Fall Ball games with their respective Teams, as we did last Fall, which seemed to work out great. The majority of games will be played on Saturdays and Sundays with possibly a few games possibly during the week (details to follow).
For Amity Babe Ruth Fall Ball (for Players ages 13 – 16 as of April 30, 2024), there will be a separate Registration process (details to follow) - if you have any questions pertaining to this program, kindly send us an email so we may promptly address them …
For anyone registering after the August 13th deadline, there will be an automatic late fee of $25 assessed to each Registrant accordingly, as long as there is room on the various Teams to accommodate late Registrants.
For those registering for Fall Ball, kindly have all the pertinent information available when registering your children (dates of birth, doctor contact information, email addresses, cell phone numbers, etc.) that will help facilitate the process.
If you believe your child has the ability and is capable of playing up a Division this Fall (6 into Rookies, 8’s into Minors and 10’s into Majors), you may register them to play up accordingly. Note each request will be carefully reviewed separately by the various League Coaches and some may not be accepted.
Also note that if your child is allowed to play up a Division this Fall, it should be clearly understood that does not automatically mean your child will be allowed to move up in the Spring of 2024 – they will to officially try out per our League policies.
Fall Ball League Registration costs are as follows :
- Tee Ball $ 120.00
- Rookies $ 175.00
- Minors $ 220.00
- Majors $ 220.00
Payment is due immediately upon Registration via a CC. Should refunds be necessary, these will be sent out directly from the League via the CC you used as well (including those who might register late but there are no available roster slots on the Team). However, note that there will be NO refunds approved once your child has been drafted on a Team and uniforms ordered.
Also note that Beth – Wood Baseball also offers scholarships to those who financially cannot afford to register their children due to economic reasons.
